Sonya Miles, Co-Founder of MLH Design Group, is a creative and driven entrepreneur focused on delivering bottom line results to hospitality clients

 

Sonya specializes in guiding her creative team to develop interior spaces that are innovative, thoughtful, functional, and profitable. She sets the creative direction for each project by carefully balancing a robust blend of contrast, proportion, texture, and light.  She believes that clients are best served by having an interior design team that is capable of delivering a guest experience that goes beyond the expected - creating results that are both exciting and inspiring.

 

With over 17 years of industry experience, Sonya provides keen attention to the entire design cycle - from big operational processes to small details.  When combined with her background in project management, she has the perfect blend to ensure the success of each design project. Her ability to communicate big ideas and leverage the tools needed to execute a project efficiently, allows the design team to stay focused on delivering creative solutions.

 

As Scholarship Director for the NEWH Orange County Regional Chapter, Sonya also gives her time and passion to supporting future designers through mentoring, scholarships, and fundraising.

 

In her spare time, Sonya can be found with her husband supporting their son’s sports endeavors, or enjoying a scenic bike ride through the foothills.
